The Client
Impact Ventures, a Dallas-based nonprofit, is dedicated to empowering women and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) founders through robust programming and capital support. The organization’s marketing was led by a single communications manager who oversaw a broad spectrum of marketing activities, such as social media, website maintenance, graphic design, email communication, and event promotions. Despite these efforts, brand channels were not consistently generating the organization’s desired level of engagement and did not have enough support to manage them consistently.

MRC aimed to strengthen Impact Ventures’ marketing team and enhance their digital presence by focusing on the following goals:
Enhance Marketing Team Capabilities: Expand the capacity and capabilities of the marketing team with MRC’s strategic oversight and management.
Boost Engagement on Digital Platforms: Implement effective strategies and tactics to increase engagement across social media, email and website.
Incorporate Video Content: Enrich brand storytelling through more video content, sharing authentic stories from founders and community members.
Design Impactful Marketing Campaigns: Promote key events such as North Texas Giving Day and the Inclusive Capital Summit scheduled for summer 2024.
