The Client
Builders of Hope CDC is a non-profit that has been around for over 20 years. They are a Community Development corporation, which works with government agencies and corporate Partners to provide Housing Solutions in west Dallas in the greater DFW community. They first came to MRC for help with crafting their story and producing a video for an application to receive a $1 million Grant. After the video production, they wanted a more comprehensive brand audit and revamp that included an integrated digital marketing strategy for social media, email and their website.

Builders of Hope CDC's mission is to build Dallas and surrounding communities through constructing and preserving affordable housing, community transformation initiatives, cultivating public policy, and creating economic mobility opportunities. MRC aimed to highlight this strategic vision in a way that was informational but also visually and emotionally captivating.
Builders of Hope CDC serves a dual audience: the community it supports and the partners and donors crucial to its mission. We crafted a narrative that demonstrated to partners the transformative impact of affordable housing on families, while also connecting families in need to essential resources for generational wealth and community participation.
The client achieved a perfect score on their grant application, positioning them as finalists for the $1 million grant. The client received a brand overhaul, including updated marketing messaging, brand logo/colors, and a new website seamlessly incorporating new brand elements. MRC provided tools, templates, and guidelines for social media management and email marketing to ensure consistent storytelling.
